Just an update on the activities of the Sumba Eye Program, which is now under the umbrella of FORESIGHT AUSTRALIA.
With the collaboration of the Ophthalmologists from South East PERDAMI and the University of Hasanudin, we have set up a “What’s Up” App platform for an advisory service for our Eye Care Nurses who are still actively running clinics in Sumba with the Sumba Foundation.
With COVID restrictions and lack of finances, we can still be involved in the eye health delivery there.
The Indonesian Ophthalmologists have a great knowledge of where the patients can seek more assistance.
