Eye Care in the Field 2019

Our SEP team screening vision in a remote village, on the verandah of a typical hut , although with galvanised metal roof. SEP Team August 2018 Visit Report : Surgical Procedures and Examinations Stats.

       “Another successful and exciting combined Surgical and vision screening trip to Sumba accomplished. NEW “TANGO” COMBINED YAG AND SLT LASER PURCHASED BY SEP. JUNE 2018

The New Tango Laser will be used on the next visit to Sumba later this year. This laser will not only treat post cataract surgery issues, but will treat those with glaucoma , where the use of drops to lower pressure is very problematical in rural Sumba.
